BOOK OF LIFE

The morning brings forth new dreams
Created by yesterday's conscious schemes
Life is just like a film
Acted by majority with full steam

Life comes in stages and phases
Each to be taken with different paces
Because of the frequent change in casts and faces
Which time has thrown up to fill the empty spaces

For those who rush at life with vigor
They soon find out often too late of its rigors
That has left countless souls in senseless stupor
With little hope of revival, but from the divine Saviour

Life is a book
In which the spaces are all booked
Both by the civil and the crook
For all to learn what they've cooked

But in the end who cares? Do we 'read' and learn from what others have written in the 'book'?

We read but we only fail to learn from others, everyone wants to satisfy himself.
